Friday & Saturday Party Night in the Oak Suite

Can we hire the Clubhouse during the cricket season?

The Clubhouse is available to hire during the cricket season on a Saturday evening. Cricket matches may still be being played and our members will be able to access the bar via our outside hatch.

What does the £550 room hire include?

Full & exclusive use of the Oak Suite in the Clubhouse with a fully staffed bar for the evening 7.00 – midnight. The clubhouse must be cleared by midnight.

Is there a bar and is it staffed?

There is a bar in the Oak Suite Clubhouse and yes its staffed for events.

Do we have to use your caterers or can we provide our own catering?

You can bring in your own cold buffet style catering, you just need to be aware that you are totally responsible for the tidying up, ie clearing plates during the evening and removing everything at the end of the evening.

Can we bring in our own drinks, soft or alcoholic?

No.

Is there a cleaning deposit?

Yes a £250 refundable deposit is required on all bookings.

Can we run a free bar for our guests?

Yes, a tab can be set up. It must be settled each time it reaches £500 on the night.

What time can we have access to the Oak Suite to set up?

This can be arranged with the Club Manager. You have an hour on your party day to set things up, and sometimes it is possible to arrange for earlier in the day.

When are last orders?

Last orders are called at 11.20pm, if you have a midnight finish

What time is the room hire to and from?

7.00pm – midnight

What time do we have the room until?

Last orders at 11.20, music off at 11.40 and venue vacated at midnight.

Can we hire the Oak Suite without the bar?

No – there is no dry hire of the Clubhouse on a Friday or Saturday night.

What is the room capacity?

The Oak Suite Clubhouse has a max capacity of 150.

We have 15 round tables, that sit a max of 8 each.

Is there a dance floor?

Yes, it measures 4.5m x 4.5m

Can we decorate the room?

Yes. White Tac must to used to stick things on the wall. You have an hour to set up your decorations and they must all be removed at the end of the night unless other arrangements are made with the Club Manager.

Are Taxis easily available?

We strongly advise all taxis are ordered and booked before arriving for your party at the club. It is often an issue to get a taxi firm to come out to the club at the end of the night.

What are the approx. measurements at the club:

Oak Suite Clubhouse – 11 x 18 meters

Bowden Meeting room – 4.5 x 9.5 meters

Round tables – 153cm diameter

Trestle tables – 183 x 76cm

Dance Floor – 4.5m x 4.5m

Can we leave cars in the car park overnight?

Yes, no problem. The front gates will get locked that night and will be opened at some point the next morning. If they are still locked when you arrive to collect your car please call 07592 610090 to get the gate code.

Is there free parking?

Yes

Are there disabled facilities and wheelchair access?

Yes.

Are there baby changing facilities?

Yes, in the disabled toilet.

Can we use any outside spaces?

This is all dependent on cricket training and fixtures. Confirmation can be obtained from the Club Manager.

Do you allow 16th or 18th Birthday parties?

No
