Players bat for a total of 3 overs in pairs (9 over match)
5 runs deducted for each lost wicket – batters should change ends on the fall of a wicket, (the batter out does not face the next ball).
Wides and No Balls count as a penalty of two runs, in addition to any runs scored. No extra ball will be bowled except in the last over when Wides and No Balls count as a penalty of one run.
Bowlers are limited to a max of 3 overs. Every player must bowl at least one over except the wicket keeper.
Bowling should be from one end if possible and this should be stated by the home team at the start of play. In this case the batters will change ends at the end of every over but note rule 5.
Normal Laws of Cricket apply but players will not be dismissed LBW unless they deliberately block the ball to prevent it hitting the wicket.
Even if wearing a helmet, no player can field within 11 yards of the middle stump, except behind the wicket on the offside, until the striker has played the ball.
Managers may umpire, and coaching is allowed. Underarm bowling is to be discouraged.
A senior incrediball shall be used and no special equipment is needed. Batting and wicket-keeping gloves should be encouraged but pads are not necessary. Kwik Cricket bats may be used.
The boundary should be no less than 35 yards from the middle of the pitch which shall be 20 yards long. Stumps shall be the smallest available. Games may be played without the use of bails. All types of artificial pitches or flat outfields are acceptable.
The winning team will be the one with the highest net score at the end of their innings.
