Close matches, that once again the Oaks are either side of

The 1s (232/9) lost by 3 wickets to Aston Rowant (233/7). Captain Shaan Khan led from the front with a well made 87, supported by Sukhi Kang's 47. This set a formidable target of 232 however despite tight bowling from Andy Rishton (20-4-94-3) and Iain Muirden (13-3-31-3) Aston Rowant chased it seven wickets down.

The 2s (175/10) had a massive 58 run win against Cove 1s (117/10). A low total was set however youngster Hanson Martin (32) and rearguard action from Muddassar Nawaz (28) did well to get them there. And whilst most teams rarely see more than one 6+ haul in a season, the 2s saw another the week after the last as Jacob Clark (12-4-35-7) blew Cove away taking seven.

The 3s (237/8) drew with Binfield 2s (143/7). The 3s set a large total in large part due to Allrounder Jamie Cable (50*) and not an Allrounder Priyen Prakash (48). They set about bowling out Binfield for victory. Cameron Prentice's brutal pace (11-7-13-4) and youngster Aaron Pavelyn's accuracy (9-3-19-2) took them close but Binfield deadbatted for an earnt draw.

The 4s (137/10) dramatically beat Purley on Thames 2s (135/10). With a high score of 24 (Alex O'Keefe) there was some concern 137 would not be enough. But O'Keefe (9-1-27-2) and Akshay Dhanda (8.2-1-11-4) ensured Purley fell just 2 runs short.

The 5s (130/10) lost to a strong Boyne Hill 3s (133/2). However credit should be given to Ishaan Kulkarni for a well made 36.

The 6s (144/10) were also on the wrong side of a large defeat facing Theale & Tilehurst 4s (147/0). However, a highlight was youngster Thomas Ballantine making 50.

In the Midweek rounds, the Midweek 1s (135/7) would have thought their total was not enough but held out for victory away at Reading (110/10). This was in large part to a rapid 40 off just 19 balls from Priyen Prakash and a solid base of 37 off more than 19 balls from Callum Creighton. The left arm spin (not a mistake) of Iain Muirden bamboozled Reading (4-0-16-3) and was well supported by Ben Jarvis (4-1-20-3). Meanwhile, the Midweek 2s (145/8) could not chase down West Reading (163/6) however there were highlights in Josh Hawksworth's 4-0-27-2 and Akshay Dhanda's 78 off 52 balls.
